Hare & Chimes
Hare and chimes are today’s haiku prompt words:
the clock does not chime
for the hatter and the hare
it’s always tea time
the breakfast bell chimes
farmer removes his gun boots
March hares frolicking
on the Ides of March
the chiming of knife blades send
the hare to the jug
Apologies to Aesop who’s famous hares did not finish the race in time to be in my haiku today. I do hope you’re not too disappointed 🤗
