Juncos & Shaved Ice
Juncos and shaved ice are our haiku prompt words today:
in Australia
two things that you will not see
shaved ices and Juncos
a flock of Juncos
swirling around the corn field
like shaved ice syrup
early winter morn
I remove shaved ice from car
the last Junco leaves
I hope my American visitors will forgive me if Juncos are long gone by the time the ice comes. We don’t see either here in Queensland 🤗
