Long Day & Puddle
Today’s Daily haiku prompt words are long day and puddle:
commuting back home
through the rain, the street puddle
mirrors my long day
a long day
my dog left at home
a puddle
after a long day
the sun finally setting
Into this puddle
As I write, it’s the beginning of my day and, torrential rain is manifesting puddles everywhere. The loud tapping on the metal roof is making it hard to count syllables.
I hope your day, though long, is fun 🤗
