Sand & Plover
Your daily haiku helping
Today’s Daily haiku prompt words are sand and plover:
out of the sand dune
children running and screaming
the swooping plovers
sand blows in the wind
the scent of salt and seaweed
call of a plover
on an Iceland beach
in the sand, twitchers await
first plover of Spring
The sound of a plover in spring strikes terror into many an unwary Australian, coming seconds before the swoop. Ahhh, the joys of Spring 🤗
