Yarrow & Orange
Your daily haiku helping
Today’s daily haiku prompt words are yarrow and orange:
‘neath an orange tree
Chiron teaches Achilles
how the yarrow heals
an orange sun sets
across battle fields of Troy
yarrow, steaming blood
casting orange hues
across a field of yarrow
a summer sunset
I’m sure it’s just coincidence that having just read the Iliad, these prompts arrive. I hope Fleet Footed Achilles and Chiron, the most righteous of the centaurs are happy to appear in my less than epic poems too 🤗

The orange sun sets
on yarrow of tomorrow
Orange hard to rhyme
(just say’n)
Orange is unique
it certainly does not rhyme
with herbs like yarrow!😊
